I read a review that it was a suspense not a thriller, It is the former yet the climax is very sudden and least expected. Kalki Koechlin (KK) does a lot of justice to her role. She takes her “Shaitan” Performance quite a few notches over here. 

There is just one plot here. Though you might find a lot in the first half to bear, worry not it does build quite a nice punch in the end. Too many “happy endings” or “hand shakes” put in the middle may be a lil bit off the mark here, but the rest makes up for it.

What could have been left out/changed/ etc etc.

1. The minor sub plot of KK’s boyfriend and his antics. Not sure why that was part or given so much screen time
2. Nasserudin Shah – The part about him finding the truth – Not really needed.
3. Background score at the end/climax – should have been more intense.

All in all a must watch if you really want your brain cells to work overtime

2 Weddings in about 4 days and one more on Saturday, Is it Hunting season oops Wedding season or wot Lolz, Anyways Went to Mangalore over the weekend to attend Wifey’s Cousin’ Wedding. What a Blast man!!! Seriously Mumbai is really over-rated when it comes to having fun. Day 1 we sleep at about 2. Day 2 we sleep at 4. Music going on till we drop.

Btw they have LiVe Music in Mangalore still, Take that Dance House Mumbai. !! There is really a different feel of dancing with a LiVe Band playing in the background. And you get to hear Konkanni Songs thats really gets your return to roots.

bTw SCRIBE was playing at some Chembur english school, hmm mark of teja in a high school, this i gotta see. I had seen “naked earth” play in my school, but they were so much a trash/metal band and we never did hear a bad work other than a word called (fuck). Who says its a bad word any more.

love it. If i am to describe in 2 words. Yes sometime i feel you have to work a lot so get some functionality working. But love the way the software is setup. For the amount of software windows has its amazing to see how much linux has. A lot.

So back to the topic. Why hasn’t Linux (here i mean the Ubuntu Linux, not that its the only distro but the one am using) scored over Windows

– Am a linux newbie i must say but i think i know a little bit to tinker around. While doing it managed to remove my network manager program and then few wierd half learnt commands later i had no network, my eth1 card was not being recognised at all. i had no clue what was wrong. Now If i was in Windows i would just about go to device manager, remove the device and reload it. Drivers back. I do not see the same in ubuntu, i know there is a way to get it and that means a lot a sudo driven changes. Mind you the average user might find windows device manager threatening, so you do not even bother asking him to do sudo commands on nix

– Seems Ubuntu usage is simple i love how apt simply gets what you need like i do not have to visit 10 sites to get the correct installer. fire up apt and ask for your program, the only problem is do not get anything wrong. Do that and it seems ur up against a huge wall of commands and tweaks

– For some reason there are many quirks in the ubuntu distro
My network dns address gets overwritten by the network manager program. So everytime i boot up i need to put it. the same bug that was present in jaunty for NM not saving gateway info is still present. How the hell did it pass quality with these 2 big quirks i do not get it.

See a computer must work out of the box
1 – Simple configuration – most people want a pc so as to surf, chat etc etc and some social networking and shit like that it Should work.
2 – Mistakes happen so give a way to rectify them aka device manager
